I loved everything about Tanya and Steve’s wedding day. The day started with both of them getting ready at the Drury Inn and Suites in Troy. I was with Steve for a bit then headed over to Tanya’s getting ready room. We decided to move to a really nice space inside the hotel and I am glad we did. From getting the dress shots to some fashion images of Tanya it was perfect. After the hotel we traveled to Detroit for the ceremony. It was at a beautiful garden space called Lafayette Greens. With all of the construction, Tanya was running a little behind but she insisted we still do a first look and I am so glad we did! The interaction between the two of them shows how much they love each other. The ceremony was short and sweet with a little bit of crying. Once the ceremony finished I hoped on the party bus and we traveled north up Woodward to W. Columbia Street next to the Fox Theater. It’s a side street that has been blocked off of traffic for entertainment and restaurants. Just take a moment and look at the stunning gold accent doors on the side of the theater. It’s one of my favorite spots in Detroit. Once we were done in Detroit, we continued up Woodward to Ferndale and the Rust Belt Market for the reception. We took a little time to grab some photos of Tanya and Steve before the grand entrance. I am glad we did, the sun was going down at the right time and we were able to get some beautiful sunset images next to the vine wall in the alley. I love when couples do the grand entrance and go straight into their first dance. You can see from the photos that everyone at the wedding had an amazing time! I want to thank Tanya and Steve for trusting me with their photography and my ideas! They told me to do my thing and I think I did. What is your favorite photo from the amazing wedding day. Very beautiful photos. My favorites are definitely the sunset by the vines. And Tanya in her wedding dress sitting in the chair with the row of balconies behind her and the camera on the floor looking up at her…lol. That picture is amazing!!!
They were all so good I really couldn’t pick out just one favorite but I think it would have to be the last picture in black and white. The expression on everyone’s face is priceless! Great pictures!
Beautiful!! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! 🙏
Loved all the photos, there were amazing. Especially the one of the couple kissing. Congratulations Tanya and Steve
