Weddings up north just hit harder! When I found out that Lisa and Bryan’s wedding was going to be in Traverse City, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. Fast forward and the day finally arrived. We started with Lisa and all of the girls! Between the two they have 4 girls, yes 4 girls and they were the bridal party. After Lisa got ready, I drove her to Old Mission Peninsula so we could do their first look.

We found a beautiful garden with a unique wall that was perfect for the first look. If you are interested in learning more why I love a first look, click HERE! After the first look we brought the girls over for family photos. We had a little fun with them too! We then did the extended family photos before the ceremony started.

The ceremony was full of emotion…Lisa and Bryan each said vows to the girls and then to each other. It was short and beautiful and then we ran down to the shore of Lake Michigan. After the lake photos, Lisa and Bryan had their grand entrance and then we had a yummy dinner. The night concluded with dancing and yard games. Before I left we took 10 min to sneak back down to the lake for some beautiful sunset photos! Overall, the wedding will definitely be one I will remember.
