What a beautiful wedding Kayla and Adam had on August 16th at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The day started out like any other, Kayla getting ready at her house, then we went to the church for the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and we did an awesome exit out the church with all of their guests throwing flowers at them! Then things went a little off schedule. I was supposed to meet the bridal party at the Law Quad at the University of Michigan. Then I get a call saying Kayla’s zipper on her dress completely ripped and they had to stop at a dress shop to get it fixed. This is where experience in your vendors pays off. I called back and said we need to skip the Law Quad and meet at Eagle Crest for all of the photos. I am so glad we did because we lost a lot of time and I knew that the grounds around the venue would be perfect for photos. I did take Kayla and Adam outside for some sunset photos on the hill and I am so glad we did. You can see the stars and the moon. Even though we had some hiccups the day was beautiful and I thank Kayla and Adam for having John Richmond Photography be part of your special day!
