A Beautiful Day at The Farmhouse at Wyndgate: Jacqueline & Gregg’s Wedding

There’s something truly special about being asked to photograph another photographer’s wedding. It’s an incredible honor — and yes, it brings a little extra pressure! When Jacqueline asked me to capture her and Gregg’s wedding day, I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jacqueline for a few years now. We’ve spent countless Friday nights together on the sidelines, photographing Rochester Adams football. Sharing that passion for capturing moments forged a friendship that made this day even more meaningful to me.

Jacqueline and Gregg chose The Farmhouse at Wyndgate in Rochester, Michigan for their celebration. It’s such a gorgeous venue, with the charm of an old farmhouse and a stunning barn that makes for the perfect backdrop. Whether you’re a guest soaking it all in or a photographer looking for the perfect frame, this place does not disappoint.

Their wedding was an intimate affair, surrounded by close family and friends. There’s a different kind of energy at smaller weddings — everything feels more personal, more connected. You could feel the love and support radiating from everyone there.

From heartfelt moments during the ceremony to the little glances and laughs they shared throughout the day, Jacqueline and Gregg were simply wonderful to photograph. And thankfully, despite the added nerves of shooting for a fellow photographer, the day went off without a hitch.

I’m so grateful they trusted me to document such an important chapter in their lives. It’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do — preserving memories not just for clients, but for people I’m lucky enough to call friends.
