Saturday I had the pleasure to photograph Cassandra and Martize’s beautiful wedding at Joy Manor in Westland, Michigan. I have been shooting weddings a long long time and its pretty cool when I can say I photographed by first gender reveal at a wedding. It was amazing and I was so glad to be part of the day. The butterfly house at the Detroit Zoo was the perfect backdrop for Josie and Karl’s wedding on Monday. I think the butterflies knew it was a wedding because they were flying all over the place. It was beautiful to get butterflies flying through my photos of the first dance. You can see them in the photos below. Josie and Karl were up for outdoor photos even though it was a little cold.
