I don’t know where to start this post…Arizona has always been a bucket list for me as a professional wedding photographer. When I booked Julianna and Bryce’s wedding, I immediately started researching where I wanted to go for their wedding photos.
Day 1 was the rehearsal dinner and then we went out to Gates Pass. This mountain pass is along the crest of the Tucson Mountains. We arrived just in time for the most amazing golden hour lighting! These photos are exactly what I was hoping for. What an unbelievable location for photos. What is your favorite photo from day 1?
Here are some of my favorites from Gates Pass.
Day 2 (September 18, 2023) was the wedding day! The wedding was at the Historic Stillwell House in Tucson, Arizona. The ceremony was held in the courtyard garden. It has beautiful floral grounds and calming water features. It truly was a stunning area for an intimate outdoor ceremony.
Day 3 we went exploring in the Santa Catalina Mountains! Mount Lemmon was simply breathtaking. It took us 30 minutes to drive up to the location we used for the photos. Being up there and looking over the edge was crazy cool. I really hope I represented Mt. Lemmon in my photos! It was fun finding spots to photograph Julianna and Bryce’s photos. What do you think of the photos? Have a favorite one?
Congratulations to Julianna and Bryce! Your wedding was beautiful and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the both of you. Thanks again for having John Richmond Photography be part of your special day.
