June 26, 2026
Macey and Joey’s wedding day was the perfect example of how meaningful and beautiful a private residence wedding can be. On June 20, 2026, they were married at Macey’s parents’ property, a place that has now hosted three weddings. After spending the day there, I can absolutely see why. The property is such a perfect setting for an intimate wedding, filled with personal meaning, beautiful scenery, and so much love.
The day started with Macey and Joey each getting ready before heading into their first look. But before the actual first look happened, there was a hilarious twist. Joey’s best man, Caleb, put on a wedding dress and surprised him with his very own “first look.” Let’s just say Joey was definitely surprised! It was such a funny and memorable moment, and it set the tone for a day full of joy.
After that surprise, it was time for the real first look. This time, Joey was completely taken back by Macey’s beauty. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them, and you could instantly see how excited they were to begin the day together.
After their first look, we moved into bridal party photos and family photos before getting ready for the ceremony. The ceremony took place in one of Macey’s favorite spots, on her grandparents’ property. It was also her grandpa’s favorite place, which made the location even more meaningful. One moment that everyone will remember for a long time was Benson, Macey and Joey’s son, riding down the aisle on Bo or Bobo as Benson calls him. It was such a unique and special entrance, and it made the ceremony even more personal.
Their ceremony was short, sweet, and full of love. Afterward, we headed into the meadow for some stunning portraits of Macey and Joey. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and it gave us the perfect backdrop for photos of just the two of them.
After dinner, Macey and Joey cut their cake and went straight into their first dance, followed by dances with their parents. Later in the evening, instead of doing a traditional bouquet toss, Macey dedicated her bouquet to her mom as a thank you for all of her love and support. It was such a heartfelt moment and a beautiful way to honor her.
Macey and Joey’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. You could truly see the love between the two of them, and every part of the day felt personal and meaningful. I was honored to be a part of their wedding and to capture such an incredible celebration for them and their family.
