There’s something special about Downtown Rochester, Michigan that makes it one of my favorite places for engagement photos, and Mansi and Brett’s session was the perfect example of why.

We started the evening near the beautiful Royal Park Hotel, making our way down to the scenic Clinton River. The peaceful walking paths, lush greenery, and elegant surroundings create such a timeless backdrop for engagement portraits. It’s a location I find myself returning to often because every season offers something unique, and it always provides the perfect mix of nature and sophistication.

After spending some time along the river, we headed toward the area around Rochester Mills Brewery. This part of downtown is packed with hidden gems for photography. From vibrant green doors and textured brick walls to the long, winding pathways that weave throughout the area, there’s no shortage of creative spots to capture genuine moments. Every corner seems to offer a new opportunity for a unique image.

Mansi and Brett were so much fun to photograph. Their excitement for the future and the way they naturally interact with each other made every photo feel authentic and effortless. It’s always rewarding when couples can simply enjoy the experience while creating memories together.

Now, I’m counting down the days until their wedding this September at Pine Knob Carriage House. What makes their celebration even more special is that they’re combining both an Indian wedding and an American wedding into the same day. It’s going to be an incredible opportunity to celebrate two cultures, traditions, and families coming together in one unforgettable event.
