August 5, 2025
August 2, 2025, was a day to remember as Sarah and Nathan tied the knot at the beautiful Golden Hawk Golf Club in Casco, Michigan. Their wedding day was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and an unmistakable sense of closeness shared by their friends and family.
The day began at Sarah’s aunt’s house, where the bridal party got ready with hair and makeup – but no dresses just yet! We saved that special moment for when we arrived at Golden Hawk. Once there, Sarah stepped into her stunning gown and the energy of the day really started to come alive.
While Sarah and the girls were getting ready, I turned my lens toward Nathan and the guys. Nathan had already arrived suited up, but that didn’t stop us from capturing some truly memorable moments with him and his groomsmen. There were a few light-hearted, fun shots in the mix – you’ll definitely see the laughter in the photos.
The ceremony itself was made even more special with Sarah’s uncle officiating. His mix of sincerity and humor brought a personal touch that perfectly reflected Sarah and Nathan’s relationship. It was one of those ceremonies that makes you smile from start to finish.
Following the ceremony, we moved right into family portraits and bridal party photos. The golden light and lush green surroundings at Golden Hawk gave us the perfect backdrop. Every smile, every embrace, and every joyful glance was a reminder of just how loved these two are.
The reception was nothing short of stunning. Sarah and Nathan shared their first dance surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. It was emotional, romantic, and filled with joy. Just before the sun dipped below the horizon, we snuck out for some sunset portraits – and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it.
As night fell, the dance floor came alive. From the first beat to the last song, guests of all ages joined in to celebrate Sarah and Nathan. The energy was contagious and the happiness was undeniable.
It was such an honor to be asked to photograph this beautiful wedding, especially since I had previously photographed Sarah’s sister’s and cousin’s weddings. Being invited back into this incredible family means the world to me.
Congratulations, Sarah and Nathan! Thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful day. I hope these photos bring back all the love, laughter, and joy you felt on your wedding day for years to come.
