The first time Sarah and I talked on the phone about her upcoming wedding we just clicked. She had a vision for her engagement portraits and I feel the locations were the perfect fit. We started at Brewhouse Downtown Toledo. A small quant speakeasy with specialty cocktails and select beers on draft. I loved the atmosphere of this location. The couches, wallpaper and winding staircase made for really cool photos. After grabbing a drink, we headed over to Middlegrounds Park, a really beautiful park on the Maumee River. You also get a stunning view of the Anthony Wayne Bridge that crossed over the river. As we were finishing up the photos we started to walk back and the sun appeared over the Great Lakes Terminal Warehouse. We were hoping for some sunset photos and I absolutely loved how the light was coming off the corner of the building.
