Savannah and Patrick’s wedding day in Grand Rapids was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment the morning began, you could feel the excitement in the air as they each got ready for their celebration.
One of my favorite parts of the day was Savannah’s bold and stunning choice of a black wedding dress. She looked absolutely incredible and brought such a modern, elegant twist to the day. Patrick matched her style perfectly with his black suit coat accented in purple—a combination that made them stand out beautifully against the character of the Harris Building.
The ceremony itself took place in the heart of the Historic Harris Building. The exposed brick and old theater lighting created such an intimate, timeless atmosphere. Savannah and Patrick exchanged their own written vows, and it was one of the most touching parts of the day. Their words were heartfelt and personal, leaving not a dry eye in the room. The ceremony ended with a perfect kiss and a playful dip at the end of the aisle—a moment that captured their personalities so well.
After the ceremony, we gathered for family photos before heading outside to capture some portraits with the Harris Building’s iconic signage. It was the perfect backdrop to show off both their unique style and the historic charm of downtown Grand Rapids.
Dinner flowed into a night full of love and celebration. Savannah and Patrick shared their first dance as husband and wife, followed by dances with their parents—special, emotional moments that everyone in the room cherished. From there, the energy only grew as guests filled the dance floor, celebrating late into the evening.
Savannah and Patrick’s wedding was such a joy to photograph. The Historic Harris Building provided a gorgeous setting, and their vision for the day made it truly one of a kind. I loved every minute of capturing their story and hope to return to this incredible venue again soon.
Thank you, Savannah and Patrick, for trusting me to document such a beautiful chapter of your lives.
