Saturday was such a fun and beautiful day. It all started with Cameron, Carson and the boys getting after it. I knew about 5 minutes in that this day was going to be a memorable one. I love seeing Carson growing up…this is the 5th or 6th time photographing Carson. After I finished up with the guys, I headed to Jillian’s parents house to photograph Jillian getting ready. Some of my favorite photos to capture are the details. The dress, shoes, jewelry and rings make for some great photos. Jillian’s hair and makeup was stunning. Big props to Better Together Bridal Hair and Makeup. One thing that I wish more couples would do is a dad reveal. They are always very emotional and make for some unforgettable photos. We also did a first touch instead of a first look right before the ceremony with Jillian and Cameron. The ceremony was emotional when Jillian had special vows for Carson. Cameron and Jillian had their first kiss as husband and wife and we finished up at the church and headed to downtown Mt. Clemens. The first stop was Madison’s Pub, the location where Jillian and Cameron had their first date. The bridal party grabbed some drinks then I grabbed some really cool photos of everyone in the bar. The final spot for photos was George George Memorial Park in Clinton Township. Nova, their dog made a surprise visit too…even Cameron had no clue she meeting them on their wedding day. We headed to Fern Hill Golf Club for the reception. I am a big fan of couples coming in, cutting the cake and going straight into their first dance. After dinner was the formal dances and then the party started off with “Thunderstruck”! If you don’t know…here is how it works! The first guest begins chugging their drink when the first word “thunder” is heard. Whenever the word ‘thunder’ or ‘thunderstruck’ is heard again the participant currently drinking stops, and the next participant in order must begin chugging their beer. It is one of the better wedding games I have witnessed. DJ Kenny with K & K Trinity Entertainment kept the dance floor bumping all night!
Overall, Jillian and Cameron’s wedding was great! I am truly blessed to have been part of the Clauser wedding day celebrations. You can see the love and fun between the two of them. Let everyone know what photos are your favorite by commenting below.
