When one of the areas best videographers reaches out to photograph his cousins senior photos…you make it epic! When discussing ideas, Reyjon wanted a park setting with some industrial feels. Belle Isle seemed like the perfect location. Spots like the fountain, the Detroit city skyline and the Belle Isle Conservatory were all highlighted in this session. We all met at the James Scott Memorial Fountain to kick off Reyjon senior session. I loved the look he was wearing…the camo pants and brown Wrangler coat just looked right! Also…the fall colors were still in full display all over the island. Mid November and the leaves and weather felt like October. Reyjon did a quick outfit change and we headed over to the Belle Isle Conservatory. The conservatory is currently under construction but you can still use the outside and the area around the building. I love the architecture of the building and all of the glass panels. Also, did you know that the Belle Isle Aquarium, which is attached to the conservatory is the oldest aquarium in America. Around the back is a hidden spot…old brick walls and these deep purple window panels. The last spot was a new one for me. There are a bunch of old glass greenhouses on the other side of the conservatory. They made for some really cool perspectives and refections.
I want to thank Rocky Shattuck of RDS Films for trusting me with your family. I hope I did you proud!
