You guys…Maya and John were one of my favorite couples ever. Check out these amazing images from their August 30, 2024 wedding. The ceremony was at SS. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church in Sterling Heights. The reception was an intimate occasion at the Caucus Club in Detroit. Pictures of Maya and John were taken at the church grounds and Downtown Detroit, around the restaurant, it was perfect. One thing that was a first for me was an old tradition between Maya and John. It’s called a “rozbíjanie taniera,” where the bride and groom break a plate for good luck and then work together to clean up the shards, symbolizing their cooperation in married life. I don’t know but John cleaned up the mess, ha! It was so cool and I was not expecting Maya to chuck the plate so far. Definitely check out the photos.
