Sunflower fields, apple burgers and beers = a perfect engagement session!

When we started talking about locations for Kristi and Graham’s engagement portraits, we landed on Blake’s. Wednesdays are perfect for sessions at Blake’s. We had the entire property to ourselves. We started in the back in this huge tall sunflower field. It was so cool, they have paths going through the entire sunflower field. Blake’s has everything! Plum trees, pear trees oh and apple trees. We found these amazingly red apples trees and yes I had to see if the apples were ripe, they are. Tall pine trees also make for a beautiful backdrop. I saw the perfect angle to frame Kristi and Graham within the pines. After the session we stopped in for some food and beers.

I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to travel to Colorado next year to photograph Kristi and Graham’s wedding in Vail. It is a bucket list location for me and I am excited to put my talents to use in the mountains.
